† Use a standard 8 oz. measuring cup. Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.

Gluco-samine & Chondroitin

Gluco-samine & Chondroitin are typically used in low protein & calorie foods designed for "Senior" dogs. If you wait for your dog to have a joint related problem, Gluco-samine & Chondroitin will not correct a problem as these additives are not drugs. Research suggest starting dogs early in life on food with Gluco-samine & Chondroitin will help support joint health over a lifetime of feeding. As dogs get older, they certainly require less calories, but there is no reason to switch to a low protein/fat diet. Simply adjust food intake so as to maintain good body condition based on activity level and age.

Pregnancy & Nursing

Energy requirements are continually changing during stages of gestation and lactation and may require up to 4 times recommended levels to maintian good body condition. Feed amount needed to maintain good body condition on your female dog.

Feeding Tips - Changing Diet

It is best to make a transition from one brand of dog food to another brand over a week to 10 days.  Gradually replace your current food with the VIctor formula, increasing the percentage of the mix to 100% within 7 - 10 days.
